C#

My very first experiences with programming were with Visual Basic 5 when my dad suggested I take a look at it since I had expressed interest. I didn't get very far with Visual Basic until many years later. My first computer science class in high school was taught using C++. Before that class I hadn't really thought much about what I wanted to do with my life. It wasn't much more than 2 or 3 months before I realized that programming was my calling.

For the longest time I was a huge fan of C++. That changed when I really began to sink my teeth into C#. I was a little tepid at first and it took time to grow on me, but soon it came to replace C++ as my language of choice for writing applications on Windows.
